About the Club --
The Mason County Kayak Club is an informal association of men and women interested in leisurely recreational sea- or touring-kayak activities (from beginners to experienced paddlers).Area residents formed the Club to help area kayakers get to know one another, arrange companionable kayak outings both among individual members and for larger groups, and exchange information and help each other learn the sport and have more opportunities to enjoy it.
The Club's focus is fostering safe and fun kayak outings.
In a club setting, more experienced kayakers may assist beginners with learning the skills and safety precautions of kayaking, and people can exchange information about the sport and favorite kayaking locations.
To protect privacy, the Club does not distribute personal information. The addresses of those contacting the Club via E-mail (through the "Links" page) are not given out to others. It is up to individuals to decide whether to share contact information with others participating in Club events, and names of individuals do not normally appear on the "public" pages of this Website.
The Club was organized early in 2002.
